A fabulous weekend away with the girls from Dorec-a-belle. 1st stop, set up for a house concert in Glasgow’s west end, then hurry across town to soundcheck for the Squeeze support at the Concert hall. Do the support, hurry back in 2 stuffed [or was it 3?] cabs full of gear and people, compose oneself maybe a wee glass of wine, and on with the afore mentioned house gig. Fantastic atmosphere and very positive feedback from all who attended. Round 2.. Make our way to a small art gallery in Shawlands for a short set the following afternoon, a very pleasant gig in very inspiring surroundings. Then on to the Glad Cafe Glasgow for the evenings performance. We were very fortunate to have support from David Celia who was absolutely fantastic, wonderful voice and a very accomplished guitar player. Another satisfying gig with the band too with a healthy turnout rounding off the weekend, everyone had a blast! Lets do it again soon..
